Michael D’Amato is a Casting Director, Acting Coach and an Artios Award-winning Associate Casting Director at Hopkins Ingram Casting, recognized for his work across acclaimed television, film, and streaming projects.

He is best known for P-Valley (Starz), Season Two of The Wonder Years (ABC), and the Academy Award-nominated film The United States vs. Billie Holiday, directed by Lee Daniels — for which he earned the 2022 Artios Award for Film, Non-Theatrical Release.

Michael’s most recent credits include Pretty Babies, directed by Tyler-Marie Evans, Chopin, directed by Vincent Lin, and Netflix’s The Deliverance, also directed by Lee Daniels. Additional highlights include Power Book II: Ghost (Starz, Season One), the Emmy Award-winning limited series When They See Us (Netflix) directed by Ava DuVernay, Tesla (Hulu) directed by Michael Almereyda, The Last Thing He Wanted (Netflix) directed by Dee Rees, and You Were Never Really Here (Amazon) directed by Lynne Ramsay and starring Joaquin Phoenix.
